I think as a group we worked very well to design, film and edit the music video. We worked well as a team easily choosing the track Example - last ones standing (DR P remix) with no debte on any other track. We were all assigned roles which we stuck to for example I did the editing and Harry did the camera work however we helped each other with every task. We did not find it difficult at all to communicate as a group and ask for help of each other if it was ever needed and in the end I believe we came out with a great final product.
If we panned ahead and created a more detailed production diary I believe we would have been more organized and with outstanding work would of finished much sooner and finished our work before the deadlines. This is due to the fact that half the time we did not know where we were up to or what needed to be done next which meant we wasted valuable time looking through finished work to see what we had done and what we had missed to find out what had to be done next.
The editing went amazing, we sat around the computer as a group for some of it and made editing decisions as a group with the intention to make it look as good as we possibly could, choosing what effect should go where, which clip should follow the next also removing clips which did not work or were not needed, after the first few days of shooting we realized that the camera was not at a straight enough angle so we had to re-shoot some shots at the beginning however others could be easily straightened using final cut express.
I am finally very proud of the final piece. I believe we worked outstanding as a group, had alot of fun, learnt from our mistakes such as lack of planning and I would love the opportunity to do it again
